Mr. Kambar joined APD in 1999. His years of project engineering, drafting, management and supervision have concentrated on retail companies and municipalities (e.g. ALDI Inc., Monro Muffler Brake, Walmart, Lowe’s, Dollar General, Sam’s Club projects, Hunt Hollow Ski Club and the Village of Palmyra). His experience includes performing such tasks as creating site development plans, which include demolition, site, erosion and sediment control, grading and drainage, utility, landscaping design, and lighting layouts, as well as details and specifications. A strength is coordinating with clients, developers, municipalities, agencies, contractors, utility companies and co-workers.
Mr. Kambar is also well-versed in providing post construction stormwater management plans, stormwater pollution prevention plans, hydraulic flow reports, environmental assessments and has worked on DEIS and FEIS documents. Municipal and agency approvals and permits he has procured for for site plans include: subdivision; variance (e.g. special use, change in use and area); Corp of Engineers and NYSDEC wetland mitigation; NYSDEC (SPDES, SEQR and Floodplain Management); PADEP water quality and quantity control; Local and State Health Dept. backflow prevention and watermain dedication; NYSDOT and PADOT highway work permits; County highway work permits, sanitary connections and erosion and sediment control mitigation; Utility connections and extensions; and other project specific approvals. He has created and utilized site renderings and PowerPoint presentations to help obtain these approvals.
A graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) with a BS in Civil Engineering Technology, he worked for Monroe County’s Engineering Department in the Surveying Division and RIT’s Physical Plant in the Project Management Division under RIT’s Cooperative Education Program. After graduating he worked for Crane Hogan Structural Systems, Inc. as a field office manager before joining APD. Mr. Kambar is currently licensed (PE) in New York State.
