Principal Member & President
As a principal member and the president of APD Engineering and Architecture, Mr. Wheatcraft has more than twenty five years of experience in developing and implementing comprehensive architectural services. He advanced APD’s architectural services into a national presence and established APD as national architect and building services provider for numerous clients. His personal vision is to ensure that our clients’ satisfaction remains high by recognizing their needs and vision, budget consciousness and teamwork. Mr. Wheatcraft strives to expand APD based on these principles and by applying leading technology and sustainable solutions.
Mr. Wheatcraft is responsible for the supervision and implementation of staffing, project management, design, production, quality control, construction field inspection, development of rendered drawings, and cost estimating. His responsibilities as a project manager include architectural design and project management for various commercial, industrial, and residential developments. He has provided these services for some of the nation’s leading retailers including ALDI Inc., and CVS Pharmacy.
Mr. Wheatcraft attended Alfred State College in New York and received his AAS in architectural engineering technologies in 1990. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects, U.S. Green Building Council, and International Council of Shopping Centers. In 2009 he became a certified LEED® Accredited Professional. He currently holds certificates of architectural registration in Arizona, Colorado, Maryland, New York, Texas, Wisconsin, and Virginia.
