Christopher Kambar, PE

Senior Principal of Civil Engineering

“You always work harder at the bad decisions.”

After college, Christopher Kambar began his career as a construction manager, but he quickly knew he could do more. So, in 1999, Chris joined APD and has since become the Senior Principal of Civil Engineering and the lead for the Civil and MEP teams. Chris’s focus has been on retail companies and municipalities, where he can apply his years of experience in engineering, drafting, and management.
Since becoming a Senior Principal in 2012, Chris has valued collaborating with others and finds it very rewarding. He wants to help the younger generation grow their careers as fast as they want to and will be there to support them in any way he can along their journey.
In his spare time, Chris enjoys landscape photography, camping and hiking trips, and a multitude of outdoor sports. He also sits on the board of the Monroe PE Society, where he was a past President.
