Samantha Gardner, a Registered Architect, joined APD in 2017 as an Architectural Designer and quickly advanced to Associate Principal of Architecture by 2024. Her drive to succeed and passion for growth have been instrumental in her rapid ascent within the firm. Samantha thrives in APD’s dynamic and fast-paced environment, relishing the challenges that come her way and finding satisfaction in solving new problems daily. Her expertise, strong work ethic, and unwavering enthusiasm make her a valuable team member, allowing her to see projects from start to finish and make a meaningful impact on the firm’s future.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Samantha has a deep love for travel, which she has made a priority in her life. During her university years, she spent five months studying in Rome and two months in Berlin, gaining invaluable experiences that have aided her personal and professional growth. Since then, she has broadened her horizons by visiting numerous countries. At APD, she further expands her expertise by conducting site visits across the nation. Samantha loves that she can make a meaningful impact on the firm’s future and that her voice feels heard.

Favorite Project

One of Samantha’s favorite projects was a local Taco Bell. It was the first project she stamped as a licensed architect and had full ownership of. Witnessing her drawings come to life and proudly stating, “I did that,” was an incredibly rewarding experience. It marked a significant milestone in her career and showcased the culmination of her hard work and dedication.
