Yegor brings a passion for innovative design and cutting-edge technology to his role as an Electrical Designer/Engineer. His career was sparked by an interest in using advanced 3D modeling software and calculation tools to create unique, original designs—a drive that continues to inspire his work today.

Among his many projects, one standout is the Zaxby’s remodel in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Yegor considers this project a favorite because of the creative freedom he had to design the lighting for the entire space and coordinate extensively with all involved trades, from architectural and mechanical to plumbing and civil teams. Using AGi32, he verified lighting levels to meet IES recommendations, ensuring both functionality and aesthetic quality.

At APD, Yegor has applied his expertise to a variety of projects, including lighting and control design, power systems, and electrical site work for clients like Zaxby’s, ALDI, and Heartland Dental. His career background also includes work in public K-12 schools and higher education centers in New York State.

What Yegor loves most about his work is his pride in creating something tangible that enhances the community, whether in small ways or through significant contributions. For him, there’s no better satisfaction than making a client happy and knowing his designs will have a lasting impact.

Outside of work, Yegor enjoys being an opinionated and passionate sports fan, a new father, and listening to vinyl records with some hot tea.
