Kentucky is a new market for Jack in the Box (JIB), and this is the first restaurant to be built there. This restaurant utilizes their latest MK12 building prototype, site-adapted to meet local building codes & design requirements within the City of Louisville.
The Branding Cube element at the leading corner of the building posed a challenge and had to be redesigned to meet local AHJ design requirements for roof signage. APD Engineering & Architecture, PLLC worked with the JIB Design Team to redesign the building parapets & Branding Cube element. This work led to the revision being permanently integrated into the new prototype.
The exterior & interior decor of the building features JIB’s new “Craved” image, including a new color package, interior & exterior signage, and imagery. The new prototype also includes an upgraded dining room experience, drive-thru and walk-up windows for ordering and pickup, and dedicated parking for mobile and third-party delivery orders.
